  I have snorkeled in Hawaii and love it. You got me to realize that life planning is more difficult than financial planning. I should be doing much more snorkeling.

  Life experiences is what it is all about. I need financial security (hence the savings goals on our budget), but I also need the thrill of stuff like snorkeling…

  Enjoyed your guest post!..I agreed w/everything you stated except I added a comment there regarding life insurance for kids.

  I do think that in certain circumstances, add’l insurance when renting an auto might be smart (definitely depends on what your own auto insurance covers); also would consider add’l insurance on pricey electronics as that might include coverage for accidents (dropping it) and 24-hr. technical support services.

  Holly, as I commented over at Squirrelers, I didn’t know that having an insurance policy on your kids would make it where they couldn’t be turned down later on…

  Yeah, I have a friend who is the most clutzy person on earth…she has to get the extended warranties because she keeps killing her phones and laptops. She is a perfect case for warranties being a GREAT idea.
