Hi Crystal! I’m a new subscriber. I’d love to hear your thoughts on what new bloggers can do to educate themselves on the online advertising market. I find it fascinating but I wish I had some reference that was honest and open about what it’s all about!
What is the most difficult thing for you to save money on?
I would love to know if you have any tips or advice for my 18 year old son…he is anxious to start establishing some credit for himself, but I’m hesitant for him to jump into any big committments. He has a steady part-time job and will probably start taking some local college classes next year. Any advice?

I’m new to your blog, so I’m not sure what question to ask. What advice would you give to two 60-year-olds who haven’t saved as much as they should have for retirement, but are trying hard to do that now (realizing that they’ll have to work for several more years) but who would also like to start traveling a bit before they are too old to enjoy it?

Hello, no questions for Crystal yet, but I’ll be thinking…
Crystal, here is my question: If you could set up a non-profit organization to help people in need, what would your focus be? I’ll share mine: My big dream would be to build a small community in a secluded area where people could come to relax and heal from stressful life situations. I know these places exist for those who are wealthy but as a non-profit my community would allow those less fortunate to attend at a reduced rate or even at no cost. A smaller, possibly more feasible idea which I may be able to implement on a small scale would be to pay for health testing that people might need but can’t get their doctor to prescribe, or don’t have the money to buy themselves. I would probably start within my own family as a lot of my family are not well and also living from paycheck to paycheck.

I made about $1000 online this year but with tax season coming I’m wondering do you pay self employment tax on the same tax return as your federal tax form? Or will I have to file 3 different returns – one for federal, state and self employment?
