Welcome to the March 2013 BFS Newsletter Giveaway!!!
Thank you for subscribing. I hope you like the newsletter itself! If so, please share it with anyone you think may like it too!
If you haven’t subscribed, please do so in the right sidebar before entering (I do check, lol) —>
As another thank you, this month’s giveaway prize is a $25 Amazon Gift Card or Paypal Cash AND a free copy of my eBook, How I Make Money Blogging!
All you need to do is leave a single comment below by March 31, 2013 to enter to win!
It’s not required, but I’d appreciate it if you would leave a question for me as your single comment. The “Ask Crystal” section are way more fun if someone is asking me something, lol. Plus, these questions sometimes turn into blog posts. But if you’re plum out of ideas, feel free to say anything at all.
I sincerely appreciate all of you!
The official stuff:
1) Contest ends March 31, 2013 at 11:59pm CST.
2) ONLY ONE COMMENT/ENTRY PER PERSON.
3) The winner must be a newsletter subscriber and will be selected randomly and notified by email by the third day of the following month.
4) The prize will be held for 2 calendar days. If it isn’t claimed, a new winner will be randomly picked and contacted.
5) I reserve the right to reject comments that I consider spam or invalid entries.
6) An invalid or incorrect email address automatically disqualifies you from the drawing…it’s hard to contact a fake email…
7) Local laws, rules, and regulations apply.

I don’t have a question this time but will try to think of one for next time!
i’m in!
My question this month is how do you get through the hard times and push through it when things are discouraging or seem hopeless?
So glad it’s March. Gotta mean Spring is on the way!
I am in! Thanks for running it Crystal!
Excited winter is almost over! Thanks for the chance to win!
Glad to here things are picking up for you. Given everything going on with Google, I’m probably going to be picky going forward.
Hmmm how much revenue can one expect to make from a blog when they get started?
Thanks for running this, Crystal! Hope you are doing well…nice new picture!!
No question because I have so much exploring of your blog to do.
This is my month… I can feel it.
My question this time around is on guest posting. My blog isn’t really well “established” yet but I’ve already been approached by someone who wants to guest post. Our sites are totally different although our life situations seem to be somewhat similar (single income families, one stay-at-home parent, though she’s the SAHM, I’m the working mother… but that actually might be kind of cool… anyway). Is there a “right time” to begin guest posting or is it something that just kind of happens when it happens?
Love the new email header!
I have a few questions:
1)Is it just inevitable that Google is going to slap you if you have paid links?
2)Do you have to remove them to get PR back?
3)What do people wear at Fincon?
Thanks for the giveaway!

Did you go to the Houston Rodeo this year?
you have a festive new header — I like it!
tried it every month this year so just another try.
My question: what do you do to keep your header from being overwritten in Atahuahpha theme every time you update your site? Super-annoying!
Thanks so much for the monthly giveaways!
How do you choose staff writers for your other blogs?
I see on your blog that you consider your area good for owning rentals. How do you go about determining that? My husband and I have considered adding a rental house or two, but we’re not sure where to start looking.
Thank you for the giveaway!
Count me in!
When we got our mortgage 10+ years ago, our income was higher than it is now. Our percentage of income going to our home is over 50%, taking a huge hunk of our one income. We don’t want to sell our home, because we also have the land that the home is on…also, we just have 5 and a half years left to pay on it, so the end is in sight. Do you have some tips to help cut expenses and raise income coming in, to ease this severe crunch?
I am subscribed under [email protected], but using the new email for notification purposes. Thanks for the great newsletter and giveways.

Maybe March will be a lucky month.
trying again!
It seems like you’ve been able to do a lot of fun, low cost get togethers with friends lately. Do you find that you are one suggesting some of these low cost ideas? Are your friends on the same wavelength, financially? (I ask because I’m friends with people in a wide variety of financial situations, and sometimes it entails more expensive get togethers than I intended!)
What do you think of obtaining an interest-free loan (18 months to repay) in order to pay off other debt (personal and interest-accruing credit cards)? There is a one-time 4% transaction fee.
maybe april will be my month
