One of my close friends and the co-owner of some of my other sites, Jesse Michelsen, has helped me so much since we met. He is just a great person. Plus, he has the tech know-how that I sorely suck at, so he is also my go to for tech-help. (Side note, he offers quarterly plans for tech help for anyone else as tech-unsavvy as me). Anyway, he and Ninja from Punch Debt in the Face literally just launched a new site called Manteresting.com, a site that finally offers “pinning” (aka “nailing” now) for the not-so-into-recipes crowd that Pinterest usually attracts.

I normally don’t review sites, but I just had to put this one out there. Yesterday, I needed a mental break, so I headed on over and got a few laughs in the span of less than a minute. I will admit that there was a geriatric Tweety depiction that disturbed me, lol, but there are some people out there whose minds are just as nuts as mine – there were several pictures that truly made me laugh. Best of all, despite the fact that this site was created with the male population in mind, women are more than welcome too. I just assume there will be far less foodie and fashion pics than with “pinning” and way more jokes.
Signing up to be a user was simple and now I am leaving comments on all of my favorite pictures. I am usually so busy that taking a 10 minute break just to laugh and chat is very nice. There was a “noob” gamer joke that just made my day yesterday. I am sure there are pics that you’d like too or pictures you are just dying to nail for others to see. PS I just saw this picture and I can’t stop laughing. I mean, it looks just like my Pug and I can imagine him making that face!!! I know I should be worried on how this turned out, but I swear I cannot stop laughing…there are tears in my eyes…I am going to bed now because I obviously need a nap…

I had a friend trying to get me in on gentlemint a while ago, never really have been a fan of pinterest in general, but I forwarded him the link to Manteresting since he was so addicted to this genre of websites.

OMG – that site is dangerous. It’s the kind of site where you get sucked into a vortex of entertainment, and next thing you know, an hour (or 2) has gone by. A great tool if you’re trying to procrastinate!
