Sites for Sale – Cleaning Up My Blogging Plate

This post may contain affiliate links.

Hey everybody!  I’m getting organized this year come hell or high water, so that means pairing down my crazy sites to ones that I really want to work on.  In the spirit of recycling, lol, here are the sites I have for sale and an update on the ones I’m holding on to, so some of you will stop sending me worried emails (I am not going anywhere, just growing my favorite sites more).  🙂  Feel free to email me about more info anytime at budgetingfunstuff *at*

  • Domain was registered on August 5, 2010 ( roughly 2.5 years)
  • There are roughly 215 posts

2.  Dining Out Challenge – – $1200 or Best Offer

  • Google Page Rank 2
  • MozRank 3.56
  • Domain Authority 30

  • Perfect for coupon blogger

3.  Group of Six Static Sites with Posts – $200 $150 for the Group or Best Offer!

Sites I’m Keeping

  • Budgeting in the Fun Stuff – no worries, still going strong here.  I love BFS.  🙂
  • How I Make Money Blogging – My own personal finance blog about the ways I make money online and how you can too.  I will start posting more and may bring in a blog manager to really get it going.
  • Crystal Clear Thoughts – My blog to cover the non-personal finance aspects of life like goal updates, challenges, and mind babble, lol.  I will still only post once in a long while…don’t know why, just can’t let it go…
  • Dog’s Life For Me – My pet blog to cover all the cuties like Miss Doxie and Mr. Pug that make our days happier…usually.  Will post on there a little more frequently once I get everything else caught up on.

Co-Owned Sites with Jesse Michelsen that We’re Keeping

  • Money in the 20s – A personal finance blog geared to 20-somethings.  It is about college finance and developing good money skills while still young.
  • Richly Reasonable – A personal finance site about living a modest and balanced financial life..
  • Go Be Rich – A personal finance site about taking charge of your financial and business life..
  • Smart Money Focus – A personal finance site about general personal finance and investing.
  • Modern Tightwad – A personal finance site that puts the stereotypical notion of a tightwad on its tush.

We have a couple of EXCELLENT staff writers that keep those sites fun.  Seriously, great posts.  🙂

So have no fear, I’m still going strong.  Just doing some Spring cleaning, lol.

FYI:  I worked at a dead end cubicle job from 2005-2011 for about $30,000 per year.  I went self-employed in July 2011 and make between $70,000-$90,000 through blogging, professional pet sitting, hubby's reffing, and our rental home.  If you’d like to start your own site (link to my free step-by-step guide), I highly suggest checking out Bluehost (my referral link with a nice discount for you, PLUS a free custom header banner from me!).  Please contact me any time at budgetingfunstuff*at*gmail*dot*com with questions or just to brainstorm! I’d love to help!

  1. Wow , Crystal. Here I am , a total newbie blogger (can I even call myself that right now?) and then I see the Empire you have created. It is overwhelming! I am in awe of the work you have had to put into this. WOW.

  2. Wow, you really have a lot of sites. No wonder you really need to sell some of them, keeping one blog is difficult enough for some people, what more with the number of blogs you have to keep. Two thumbs up for keeping them long enough to sell at a good price.

  3. GL. I am too lazy to even track that many sites, lol. Although I do try to read that many every week…mostly more specialized pet and technical sites.

  4. @KC, me too. 🙂

@Call Me, yeah…I sort of overextended myself in 2011 and then let a lot fall to the side.

@My Multiple Incomes, thanks! Although I only have sold one (not on the list) so far…maybe I’ll need to come down a bit…

@retired, I’m trying to read more blogs again daily too.
